MS Academy Songwriting Competition 2025 — Call for Entries!
MS Academy proudly invites members of the public, from youths to senior citizens, to participate in our upcoming Songwriting Competition. This competition celebrates creativity, raises awareness of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), and showcases their talents to the wider community.
Winning entries will be featured during the inaugural 10th Year Enabling Village Opening Ceremony. We strongly encourage PwDs and their caregivers to take part in this meaningful initiative.
Competition Categories
1. Open Category (Entry fees $60)
2. PwDs Category (Free to participate)
3. Caregivers Category (Entry fees $48)
4. Senior Category (Ages 60 and above – Entry fees $30)
Songwriting Competition Rules
1. The competition is open to all. There is no age limit. We encourage entries from Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and caregivers.
1. Each participant may submit up to 3 original songs.
2. All entries must be submitted via email to contact@musicsolutions.com.sg by 10 September 2025. Entries submitted after this date will not be accepted.
3. Entries must be accompanied by the participant’s details and required documents (see submission checklist).
1. All participants must attend the official songwriting workshop hosted by MS Academy. Details will be provided upon registration.
1. All submitted works must be original compositions or may be subjected to disqualification.
1. Participants must provide proof of identity (e.g., NRIC) and, if applicable, proof of disability (e.g., Disability Card). Failure to provide valid documentation may lead to disqualification.
1. Songs must be no longer than 5 minutes.
2. Submit in .mp3 format, along with lyrics in a separate document (.doc, .pdf, or .txt).
All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

1. Entries will be judged based on originality, musicality, lyrics, and emotional impact.
2. The decision of the judging panel is final.
