Personal Data Protection Act

The PDPA clauses set forth on this page is binding between you and Music Solutions through either of the following;

  1. You have registered your interest in our programmes/ workshop with us
  2. You have enrolled in our programmes/ workshop with us
  3. You have volunteered to participate in our events/ programme/ workshop with us
  4. You have embarked on a teaching role with Music Solutions
  5. You have been a performing artist with Music Solutions

This PDPA sets out how Music Solutions uses and protects any information that you give to Music Solutions;

Personal Data, Media and Licensing Consent Policy

1. Definitions;

1.1.  “intermediaries” means an individual or company with whom Music Solutions has direct relationships such as employees, subsidiaries, or divisions; and

1.2.  “personal data” means data, about an individual or group who can be identified from that data and or other information to which we have or are likely to have access; and

1.3.  “materials” means all forms of imagery, audio-visuals, name, voice, sound (music) recordings, and video filming not limited to any media now known or later developed in the future.

1.4.  depending on the nature of your interaction with us, some examples of personal data which we may collect from you include your name and contact information such as your telephone number, address, email address, photographs, and other audio-visual information.

2. Waiver, Indemnity, and Release of “personal data” and “materials”;

2.1.  I further give consent to Music Solutions and its intermediaries the rights to reproduce, use, disclose, and create derivative works of my images, audio-visuals, name, voice, and sound (music), and any recordings in any media now known or later developed for promoting, publicising or explaining Music Solutions and its intermediaries, and its activities for administrative, educational, marketing or research purposes. I acknowledge that Music Solutions, own all rights to the images, voice and sound, and recordings;

2.2.  I hereby give consent and waive any right to inspect the use of my images, audio-visuals, name, voice, and sound (music) and any recordings OR of any written copy;

2.3.  I also waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of my images, audio-visuals, name, voice, and sound (music) and any recordings;

2.4.  I hereby release, defend, indemnify and hold harmless; Music Solutions, its Management, its Officers, its Employees, its Representatives, its Clients, and its Agents from and against any claims, damages, or liability arising from or related to the use of the images, recordings or materials, including but not limited to claims of defamation, invasion of privacy, or rights of publicity or copyright infringement, or any misuse, distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion or use in composite form that may occur or be produced in taking, processing, reduction or production of the finished product, its publication or distribution.

I hereby have read, understood and grant permission to Music Solutions including its intermediaries, to take/ collect personal data not limited to photographs and/or videos of me, and to make recordings of my voice.
