Dance Maxima! Enchanting Ethnic Dances of Singapore
Enchanting Ethnic Dances of Singapore allows pupils to explore and appreciate the folk dances from different local ethnic groups,. Focusing on our local ethnic of Indian, Malay and Chinese dances Enchanting Ethnic Dances of Singapore opens up the opportunity for students to embrace the rich culture of the Singapore and the stories of its pioneering years through a clever fusion of local ethnic dance movements. Pupils will be taught basic ethnic moves and gestures distinctive to each ethnic group. Coupled with basic dance concepts, they will then exercise their creativity in working out a fusion dance of their own!

Learning Outcome

To encourage creativity through composition 5. To provide a platform for relationship building, cognitive development and creativity through progressive learning experience, group-based activities, movement improvisation and performing opportunities.
