Dance Maxima! Melofrolick
Melodies often strike the very first impressions in the heart of a listener. Composers write melodies to express their inner thoughts and emotions. Using fundamentals of Dalcroze Eurhythmics approach, Melofrolick allows pupils to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation in how melodies in songs can inspire dance movements and how dance and music relate to each other. In this program, pupils will have opportunities to create melodies and turn their created melodies into movements in the form of a melodic dance. At the end of the program, pupils will be able to put up a dance performance alongside their own created melodies using melodic instruments.
