In All Strings Attached, explore the wonderful world of strings as we introduce a variety of string instruments to you. From Western to Chinese ethnic instruments, be amazed by the creative combinations of different instruments of the string family, including Violin, Viola, Cello, Guitar, Ukulele, Guzheng, Yangqin, Pipa, Ruan, Erhu and more – which are all from the same family but played in different ways.

Students will get to hear and appreciate the different sounds of each instrument, and learn how some of these instruments come together to make beautiful music, e.g. string quartet, through live performances.

In addition, selected students will also have opportunities to experience the joy of performing beside the professionals to an improvised composition.

There will also be an exclusive option after the show, where students can get up close and personal with some of these instruments, and have a hands-on session if they wish.
